Hey Fella's

I caught this carp in the upper nepean river last saturday night while doing a night session with a few mates. It was caught on 10pound line using corn.

If only the nepean held fish like this.

Its a giant siamese carp. I caught it last thursday night while on my honeymoon in thailand. They are not built like our carp.they dont get the big fat gut when they get big, they are all muscle and put up one hell of a fight. It was'nt weighed but estimates were 40+ pounds

Yes, my new wife let me do some fishing on our honeymoon

Cheers

Robbo

Congratulations. On the fish and the new wife that is. I'm sure it's a good thing the nepean doesn't hold fish like that!

Great capture Robbo!

They look a lot like an Indian fish called a Mahseer, one fish I've always wanted to catch, great sportsfish, Im sure the Siamese variety are the same.

thanks fellas

I was hoping to suck a few in, if only for a couple of seconds.

The Mahseer are up there on my list too. Unfortunately i think they are quite rare these days.
