just tried out a new tt vortex spinnerbait and only got a couple of strikes otherwise nothing. just wondering if anyone else uses or has had any luck with them. by the way i got it in 1/4 oz.

Hey mate I have used them in the 1/2 an 3/4 ounce an have got plenty of good bass.I also use another brand I think there called kingspin they come with stinger hook already on them.

Spinners are a bulky and awkward lure to get used to, but if they spin they'll catch bass.
Try a smaller version to get the confidence up (betts spins or 1/16th secret ck or ausspin) then start throwing the lunkers.

Got my best bass on a TT Vortex. 50cm pb and she didn't much around with it either. I think it was a 3/8oz but that's because i was out at NPD(north pine dam) and needed to get the distance on the cast.

I like them and have caught many a fish on them.

The smallest secret creek spinner in the goldy brown fleck kills it. Just kills it. Though my pb came in attached on a $7.00 kingspin from Big W.
