I was talking to my local tackle supplier today and he showed me the following canoe that is now available in Oz. He felt that it would be well suited to bass fishing and at 15kg I see one immediate advantage over my old kayak. A bit expensive at around $1600.00 but it might be worth consideration

Anyway thought I'd put it up. I'll be interested to read what others think.

Cheers

It sure looks the goods, wonder if its stable enough to stand and cast thats what I like about my canoe it's not that large but still stable enough to stand and cast. Wish mine was as light as this one.

Funny - sent the same link to a mate 20 minutes ago. Saw these a few months back, and reckon it'd be awesome, particually since I weigh half it's rated capacity. I've got a 147 Guide for trips with the misses and fishing electric comps, and it looks like a mini version of that. Almost reckon a normal sized fella would get a battery, live well and motor onto this as well.

I saw one of these at Wetspot Water Sports in Canberra yesterday. Nice looking piece of kit with plenty of storeage space and a handy little work bench.
